Our very own Lisa Tilse (the red thread) is a rather clever bird, and today I’m super-delighted to introduce her second gorgeous fabric range for Robert Kaufman.
The brand new range, Whatever the Weather, features Lisa’s signature style of graphic pattern, inspirational colours and cute characters and motifs.
The quilting-weight cotton fabric is available in two beautiful colourways: ‘cloud’ and ‘rainbow’, and the collection will be shipping to stores at the end of this month.
Whatever the Weather follows in the tradition of Lisa’s extremely popular first fabric range, Hello Tokyo, emblazoned with kawaii girls, cats and birds in a bright colour palette.
Her current range features a fabric panel to make four adorable doll softies, along with some fun flower and umbrella motifs that would be perfect for applique. The doll softies are easy to make and they also make a great first sewing project for kids.
If you’d like to learn how to make an easy doll softie, stay tuned for the next post! Lisa will take you through the steps for this fast and easy sewing project.
And the goods keep on coming. Later today, Lisa will show you how to make an amazing rainbow pillow in an easy step-by-step sewing tutorial.
Needle and thread at the ready, scouts!
